High vaulted ceilings, exposed timber beams and a cedar-shingle roof give the interiors an airy, modern calm, while every room is walled in glass that slides fully away to the garden, the pool or the sea. The open-plan living and dining space flows out to a covered veranda with its own al-fresco lounge and second dining table, so the line between inside and out all but disappears. The centrepiece is a 32-metre lap pool tiled in Balinese green stone, edged by sun beds, umbrellas and a sunken, shaded sala for lazy afternoons. At the far end a separate three-by-four-metre plunge pool gives younger guests their own shallow water, safely set apart from the main pool.
