A contemporary four-bedroom villa set into a green hillside above Thongson Bay, on the quiet north-east corner of Koh Samui. An infinity pool runs straight out toward the forested islet offshore, a covered sala shades the dining table beside it, and the living, dining and kitchen spaces share one glass-walled volume that folds open to the terrace. Every bedroom faces the same turquoise water, and three of the four are en-suite.
This villa occupies a steep green slope above Thongson Bay, on the quiet north-east corner of Koh Samui, where the coastline turns and a small forested islet sits just offshore. The outlook runs from the bay below out across open water to the jungle-covered headlands and mountains beyond — a view the house is built entirely around, with the whole seaward face given over to glass. The setting is residential and calm, a short drive from Choeng Mon's sheltered beaches, Chaweng's restaurants and shops, and Samui Airport. The pool terrace is the centre of the house. A slim infinity pool runs out toward the sea with a glass balustrade and nothing to interrupt the horizon, edged by sun loungers, parasols and floor cushions on a broad stone deck. Alongside it, a sala lined in warm timber and set against a terracotta wall shades a long dining table for eight, with a barbecue area and further seating under cover. After dark the pool lights turn the terrace a deep blue against the bay. Inside, the living room, dining area and kitchen occupy a single open volume that slides fully open to the terrace, so the sea is present from every seat. The kitchen is finished in dark stone with a generous island, breakfast bar, wine fridge and full appliances, hung with brass bell pendants; the living area is arranged around a smart TV and a sofa that looks straight out over the water. Timber floors, slatted wood panelling and Thai textiles keep the palette warm against the white architecture. The villa steps down the hillside over several levels, which gives each bedroom its own quiet position and a wall of glass to the sea. Three are en-suite doubles — the master opening onto a terrace, with a freestanding tub set at a picture window above the bay — and a fourth connecting room is fitted out for children, making the layout easy for a family or two couples travelling together. Bathrooms are finished in stone and micro-cement with vessel basins, rain showers and an outdoor shower; there are four and a half in all. Every room has air conditioning, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, safes and robes. The villa is let exclusively, with a management team on the island who meet guests at arrival and can arrange a private chef, excursions and airport transfers. Free parking sits at the entrance, high-speed fibre WiFi covers the property, and there is a dedicated workspace, laundry with washer and dryer, and cleaning during longer stays. Shared access to the beach at Thongson Bay is a short run down the hill. Note that electricity and water are metered and settled at checkout.
